TouchTunes UK has unveiled an exciting new Britpop playlist for its digital jukeboxes operating across the UK, celebrating the iconic sounds of the 1990s. Packed with unforgettable hits from legendary bands such as Blur, Oasis, Pulp, and Suede, the playlist taps into the nostalgia and enduring popularity of Britpop, a defining era of British music.
Featuring classics like Parklife (Blur), Don’t Look Back in Anger (Oasis), Common People (Pulp), and Bitter Sweet Symphony (The Verve), the collection offers pubgoers a chance to relive the glory days of British rock and indie. TouchTunes has also included fan-favourite tracks from other Britpop staples like Supergrass, The Bluetones, and Catatonia.
With many of these artists still touring today — most notably Oasis, set to perform next year to sold out stadiums — this playlist is sure to resonate with audiences of all ages.
Karen Sarosi, Sales Manager at TouchTunes UK, explained:
“At TouchTunes, we put a lot of work into researching and creating our playlists to maximize jukebox revenues. Our goal is to provide a fun way for customers to find music that inspires and delights, while also creating an ambiance within pubs that encourages longer dwell time and increased wet sales.”
Head of Music at TouchTunes Lee Taylor couldn’t agree more -
“Britpop is a genre that connects generations, and we’re confident this playlist will bring back great memories while keeping pubs lively and engaging."
The Britpop playlist is now available across the TouchTunes network of digital jukeboxes in the UK, offering a perfect soundtrack to enhance the atmosphere in pubs and bars.
